Complete Back To The Future Replica DeLorean Used To Tote A 8 Year Old To School

Given to him by his wife as a gift, Deal, Kent resident Steve Wickenden decided he needed his own BTTF DeLorean and that is just what he created. Purchased for £47,000 after upgrades Wickenden believes the car is now worth roughly £75,000 - £100,000. If you were to see this driving down the street next to you, you would surely do a double take. That is exactly what people in his local town do Steve said "People cant believe it when we drive it down the street"

"They wave and beep at us, we've even had a few people follow us home in their cars just for the chance of a picture with it.

"Our car is exactly the same as what you seen Michael J Fox driving.

Steve said "The original from the film is in such a state of disrepair that it's not drive-able so this as close as you can get really"

His 8 year old daughter Molly is taken to school in it and she loves it she said "It's the best way to get to school and all my friends are jealous that I get such a cool lift."

Steve says to make the car as realistic as possible It even emits smoke and has neon lights to emulate the effects of time travel seen in the hit movie, and to make it feel more authentic he even installed a sound system to blast 80's music from the film while cruising it around town.

While we all can still dream that one day we will get to see the DeLorean on the big screen again, Steve is no longer waiting he has the car itself and will play out his own BTTF in his day to day life.

How pumped would you be if you got to drive your kid to school every day in a car like this. It takes "The Coolest Dad Ever" statement to a new level.

It doesn't get anymore realistic than this, the back thrusters look straight out of the movie.

Let us know what you would do if you had a complete replica of the DeLorean from BTTF you could cruise around your local town.
